Police – Sgt. R. Rivera & Ofc. Washington

Southern District Police gave their monthly crime statistics update. 

•

Frank Faris expressed concerns about professionalism in exchanges with police. 

•

The Entertainment Unit was discussed. 

Treasurer’s Report – Peter Bartels 

•

Amount given. 

•

Issue with 501(c)(3) status. 

•

Issue: Submitted dues and wasn’t cashed a month later. What’s up with that? 

Elections Update – Justin Lane 

•

Elections in November – new board takes office in December. 

•

Justin will send out notice of the Board seats available. 

Secretary’s Report – Justin Lane 

•

A large backlog of minutes will go out ahead of the next meeting. 

Liquor Board Update – Tara McNulty 

•

Issue with MugShots owner expanding. Locals Only and Abbey Burger. 

•

New member agrees to take this up – Board will provide her with materials prior. 

Misc. – Tara McNulty

Threads will attend in October 

•

CM Blanchard unable to attend tonight 

Del. Clippinger 

•

Del. Clippinger:

Issues on Cross Street – liquor licenses, etc.

Tara:

Loopholes allow 99% owner to be off-license (because you can’t be on if you’re a 
convicted felon) 

•

Del. Clippinger: 

o

Using the system from the 50s and 60s doesn’t make sense anymore.
