General overview of crime statistics

Tara McNulty: Most violent block in the entire City (during bar hours) is the 1000 Block of S.
Charles St

Tara plans to partner with the FHNA team working on that

Please have Sgt. Rivera come in September
o
We will have fresh data for the first half of the year that looks at what’s happening
o
People drinking, smoking Shofer’s Lot (in their cars)
o
As a strategy, they decided to have no parking
o
Now, people park in the neighborhood
o
This is a review of the Entertainment Unit
o
Grant from FHNA will come in Sep to talk about
o
Issue with MugShots expanding

Liquor License Application Process

Tara: Entertainment District had their meeting …

Mike: After more than 100 years, BPD works for the Mayor again

Jonathan: Do we have a counterpart to Sgt. Rivera?

Tara: I met the person who at the time was running it – we can have that person
come to these meetings

Desire: Will reach out to Maj. Middleton to see if she can come to the September meeting –
give you a better idea of the solution moving forward
