Public Safety issue that didn’t come up in board meeting last week: Some months ago, 
agreed to sign a partnership with Sheriff’s Office –

 we would support initiatives of theirs; a 

peer recovery specialist with Baltimore Crisis Response reaching out share opportunity 

have someone present us about Narcan & administration of it; Sheriff’s Office also provides 

free gun locks

 changes desired at Port Covington but this is not possible

BGE Protests in Coordination with State Delegation

Tara met with Sen Pres Ferguson re: getting residents of Port Covington involved in this 
opposition

Everyone agrees we should not rep them as the highway creates too much of a barrier

Will try to get them involved  

Host Families  

•

Next set of conferees at World Trade Center

 they look for families to host and provide 

dinner to these delegations

 next delegation from Ukraine  

Block Party Grant

Tax stuff not resolved in time

SGBP’s Grant Cycle should 

begin on July 1 (summer)

Max & Rebecca volunteering at the 03/14 block party (tabling)

Do we need a table cloth or anything for the table? Think it’s all in the box. Tara has the box, 

she will give to them.

Cash works for new members, but most of them don’t have cash. 

•

Can we get petty cash to make change for people?
