General Membership Meeting

Call to Order  

BPD Southern District – Sgt. Rivera & Ofc. Washington  

-  Year-over-year stats given  
-  Improvements in most areas  
-  Worst stat for this area is the Larceny category (Porch Pirates in particular)  
-  We need to know when this happens – and it would be good to have camera 

footage – tell Ofc to send you a link that you can upload w/the evidence – that 
will go into the report  

-  Larceny Call Pilot program – Eastern District  
-  Southern District ride-along will show how deal with issues  
-  Entertainment Unit District  
-  Mike: neighbor victim of attempted carjacking on Ostend St – Sunday morning – 

unsure if that’s only occurrence (05:30 – Sunday AM) – Sgt. Rivera to follow up – 
black SUV – chased up Light St  

Justin – minutes uploaded but we’ll review those at the end  

Andrew Carter of AJ’s & Delia Foley’s  

-  St. Patrick’s Day – historically did a 1-day block party at DF  
-  It’ll either be 03/13 or 03/20 (likelier 03/13) unless there’s severe inclement 

weather  

-  Want to extend length 20’ to 140’ (b/t Fort & Charles)  
-  Same layout, # people, # bands, etc.  
-  Want to have someone coordinate the sound (an actual sound person)  
-  Their speakers better – Jerome – also did the Cross St Hot Dog Eating Contest  

-  We give out free wristbands to the neighbors who live on Charles St
